Newsies Leading Lady Kara Lindsay Weds Memphis Vet Kevin Massey

Newsies leading lady Kara Lindsay and Memphis alum Kevin Massey celebrated their wedding on June 2 at the Lake Valhalla Club in Montville, New Jersey. The couple met in 2008 during Little House on the Prairie the musical. Lindsay played the role of Laura Ingalls Wilder opposite Massey’s Almanzo Wilder. Lindsay told Broadway.com, “It turned into a romance. We bonded over the debates between McCain and Obama.”  Then in May 2012, the couple got engaged during a camping trip in the Catskills. Attendees at the nuptials included other Broadway veterans Jeremy Jordan, Ashley Spencer, Laura Osnes, Brendon Stimson, Santino Fontana and more. Congrats to Kara and Kevin!
